Here is a simple way to see an extensive list of your most recently visited sites right on your home page.
Your first step is to activate your home button.
Under chrome://settings/appearance
Enable show home button
Tick the second option under Custom
Type chrome://history/ into text box.
Open a new tab and click the home button
You can view/delete/manage all your browing/activity history at:
https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity
